PULENA
Marsalforn

This cosy, family-run restaurant occupies a popular location in Il-Menqa, right by the little fisher harbour. The Pulena’s menu offers a very varied selection of mouth-watering dishes that are based on Italian as well as local cuisine.

The Pulena prides itself for its home-made pasta, one scrumptious example being the freshly-made baked ravioli topped with tomato, cream and parmesan cheese. While the restaurant’s location almost dictates its specialisation in fresh fish, a very good selection of meat, poultry and game dishes provides a fine choice for every palate.

A pizza menu is also available, which includes some special varieties that are prepared with buffalo mozzarella.

XI-XI
Xaghra

The tastefully and stylishly decorated Xi-Xi is one of Gozo’s favourite Chinese restaurants. It is found on the main street leading into Xaghra, just a few metres after passing the access road to the Ggantija Temples.

Xi Tabone will give you an exceptionally warm welcome, and keep a watchful eye to ensure you thoroughly enjoy your dinner! Some tips if you are overwhelmed by the extensive menu: Try the crispy skin-fish with sweet-sour or lemon sauce – the crispy outside gives way to superbly tender meat inside. Shredded chicken served inside a crunchy noodle basket is beautifully presented as chicken in a birds nest and almost too pretty to be eaten!

Whichever dish you choose, all meals are freshly prepared, each presenting a feast for all your senses!

Open daily for dinner. Take-away service is also available.

PEBBLES
Marsalforn

The Pebbles is one of the places on the Marsalforn Seafront, which most of us have taken for granted to see there for many, many years. Separated from the sea only by the promenade, it is occupying a beautiful spot to sit in and watch the world pass by, or enjoy the restful sea view.

Tasty food is served in an attractive ambience, and the Pebbles takes great pride in its freshly prepared dishes. You won’t be served pasta dishes that are pre-cooked and then warmed up, but everything is cooked on order.

Pebbles specialises in fresh fish and traditional Aljotta, and other local dishes like rabbit, and lamb.

Small groups and staff parties can be catered for.

Open daily for lunch, Saturday and Sunday also for dinner.

Over many years, Chez Amand has built a reputation for mouth-watering local and international cuisine. But only if you have been to their very special Lobster Night (every Friday & Saturday) can you truly say that you’ve tried all their delicacies!

Gozo has many idyllic spots to sit in, and Ic-Cima certainly occupies one of the most beautiful ones. Enjoy an early dinner and be rewarded with a spectacular sunset scene! VILLAGE INN
Xlendi

Merely a stone-throw away from the little sandy beach of Xlendi Bay, Joe and his wife Joan give you a warm welcome at the Village Inn. In the cosy, English-pub inspired atmosphere you’ll feel at home immediately.

The restaurant is fully air-conditioned, but during the summer months al-fresco dining on the promenade is extremely popular at the Village Inn. So be sure to book your table early!

One of the specialities is Fillet Steak St. Lucia, and Duck à l-Orange or with plum sauce, is also a very popular choice. Then there is Rabbit
The only way to sample all the delicious dishes is to come back for more!

THE DRAGON
Hotel Calypso, Marsal
forn

Lovers of exotic cuisine will find The Dragon at the Hotel Calypso the definite place to go.

The restaurant already has a well-established reputation for its delicious Chinese cuisine. However, its recent refurbishment and re-location to the ground floor level, which allows for al fresco dining right on the seafront, are additional assets to the enjoyment of a meal out at The Dragon.

It would be most unfair to pick out any one dish from the scrumptious menu, to the detriment of the others. Each dish has its particularities, and there is a mouth-watering choice for everyone’s taste.

Pay a visit with friends for The Dragon’s special buffet on Friday nights!

Open daily for lunch and dinner; closed on Mondays during the winter season.
