NATIVITAS – Art Exhibition by Victor Agius

Victor Agius (23) from Xaghra, presents his second solo exhibition, Nativitas, an expression of his love for sacred art and Christian iconography.

His first vernissage of abstract paintings is complemented by his semi-abstract glazed ceramic works in form of bass reliefs and free-standing pieces.

TRAVEL & TOURISM GOZO FAIR

The Gozo Tourism Association in collaboration with the Malta Culinary Association recently organised a Travel  & Tourism Gozo Fair at the Sports Complex in Victoria. It was the first of its kind held in Gozo, aimed at putting Gozo onto the tourism map as a unique and special destination. The fair is planned to become an annual event in Gozo’s exhibition calendar.

Main attraction of the fair was the competition for Gozitan chefs who were competing, under the scrutinity of four international judges, for the honour to present Gozo, independently from Malta, for the first time at an International Gastronomy Festival in Turkey next year.
