COMPETITION WINNER:

Mrs Tonina Pace from Victoria wrote the letter that won her a gift voucher worth Lm 25 from XT Outlet at Tigrija Palazz, Victoria - Congratulations!

Congratulations and hats off to one and all who strove bravely with sincere patriotic love and dedication to give birth to this unique publication - Gozo Plus! Gozo and the Gozitans are indebted to you and thank you from the bottom of their hearts. We are proud of you all! Still in its infancy yet great!

Besides the features which are very interesting - 'Chat' is my favourite. Keep it up! Chats with local talented young people would be an asset to them and to us; young people so very clever yet still somewhat unknown.

I suggest having more knowledge of our island, say, the watch-towers, wayside chapels, valleys etc. The young generation would surely appreciate knowing about their native Gozo of say 50/60 years ago, their ancestors' lifestyle, simplicity, self-support etc. And so it brings back sweet memories to the older clan. Readers hail from all walks of life.

I heartily congratulate the clever editor Ms Sabine Cassar-Alpert, and
Ms Charmaine Attard, who as a débutante went down memory lane with flying colours.

Thank you all very much indeed. God Bless.

CONGRATULATIONS on your first edition of GOZO PLUS. I liked it very much and enjoyed reading it. It was like a fresh breeze blowing over the island which can only be positive for Gozo. What I liked most was the interview with Anne Monserrat, a remarkable woman. Why not introducing interesting women on a regular basis? Looking forward to the next edition.

I think that the first issue of the new Gozo Plus magazine was welcomed well. I can say this from the several positive comments I heard through the grapevine. The articles are well mixed and give a general view of life in Gozo.
I would like that certain less known aspects of the Gozitan way of life will be featured together with an exposure of more remote but more enchanting spots we find in Gozo.

I received a copy of your magazine Gozo plus and enjoyed the content.  It is nice to see a Gozitan magazine being published.

I would like to congratulate you for the new magazine Gozo Plus. I feel it is appealing and gives a look at the 'actual' Gozo. Keep it up.
Silvana Sultana (Xaghra)

Prosit for your first issue of Gozo Plus, well done and keep it up.
I would suggest that there will be a topic in each issue about places of interest in Gozo (historical and archaeological, walk ways in the country side and around the Gozitan coast, etc). Some people are not aware of many sites in Gozo that are unique.

I especially enjoyed Helmut Wille’s article titled ‘Working out safely’ as I like sports very much. In my opinion Gozo Plus can be improved by adding at least one article about Gozo’s unique nature, for example the beautiful bays found in Gozo, the temples, churches and countryside in Gozo, and many more.
Marilyn Attard (Zebbug)

Gozo Plus, found on my front lobby mat, brought a groan of ‘more junk mail for the rubbish bag’. But – the initial quick scan changed my mind. I read it from start to finish, and then (…) my 19 year old son too read it from cover to cover. Congratulations to all involved, and thank you for a much needed publication relating to Gozo.
